Tech news aggregator Techmeme is trying out a new way to make money — ad units that are directly tied to the stories on the front page. The idea is that advertisers can specify company names or news categories that they want to target, then Techmeme will automatically include their message below relevant news stories.

How do you tip on Techmeme?
